One of my favourite things to do at the start of every art session is to warm up with inky faces. I take my brush and draw simple faces onto post-card sized sections of art paper. It gets me used to the ink drawing, re-familiarises me brushes, allows me to assess the quality of specific paper reactions and I just enjoy it.
Subsequently I have a few original hand-drawn inky faces in my possession.
While I have given many away as gifts I want my faces, drawn with pleasure to go out into the world and do more good. So I’m now selling these original art pieces and all money from their sale will go to the Trussell Trust. The Trussell Trust supports a nationwide network of food banks and provides emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.
Buy an inky face drawing, I will hand select one from my collection. I will write you a little artist note on the back and you’ll know you’ll be getting a unique art work and helping someone in need.
All signed and number every single one is unique.
