Description
“The Observations of Angelus Novus, Small Golden Orbs l” print is a striking abstract art print that will make a stunning addition to a gallery wall.
In striking colours in red and gold, this arresting abstract artwork was originally created with handmade can pens, ink pens and Japanese calligraphy brushes. This limited edition fine art print is A5 in size and will fit standard frames.
Prints are signed and numbered with a note from the artist.
My new ink on paper series “The Observations of Angelus Novus” was influenced by philosopher Walter Benjamin’s concept of the Angel of History. Benjamin took “Angelus Novus” (New Angel), a 1920 monoprint by the artist Paul Klee as his inspiration in his essay “Theses on the Philosophy of History”…
My pieces are an exploration and imaging of what the Angel is looking at as he travels through time and space; structures, celestial beings, music, science, nature, writing and hope.
