“Water Meditations, Plastic Jewels”, A5 Limited Edition Art Print

Description

“Water Meditations, Plastic Jewels” is a colourful abstract fine art print, inspired by the sea.

The print is A5 in size and fits standard frames. The colourful art work is printed on 300gsm Tintoretto Gesso FSC paper stock. This stock has a lightly hammered surface texture that gives the print a luxe, tactile finish and allows the inky blots and fine line detail to be seen clearly on the page.

This abstract composition is from my Water Meditation ink on paper series. Created in coloured watercolour ink and Indian drawing ink using Japanese calligraphy brushes, I have used bright, vivid tones inspired by sea glass, beach debris and the scenery of the coast, the series references the ebb and flow of the sea.

My Water Meditation abstract art series explores the process of how ink and water transforms into shapes and textures. It is also a homage to the practice of stone stacking.

The limited edition fine art print is signed and numbered.
